On September 26 and 27 in New York City, the world's most-visited country takes up weekend residence in America's most-visited tourist attraction. Dominating Broadway at Times Square for several blocks north of 38th Street, BEST OF FRANCE® will come to life as a free smorgasbord of more than 200 exhibitors celebrating France's incomparable savoir-faire. The France Tourism Development Agency Atout France and more than 30 partners will be prominent in the mix in a block-long "Rendezvous en France" area dedicated to tourism.

The replica of La Fayette’s frigate, L’Hermione, completed its transatlantic crossing of 3,819 miles from Rochefort, France in the Poitou-Charentes region to America. It sailed into Yorktown, Virginia early morning on June 5, 2015 and has continued up the coast, making such stops as Annapolis, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York.

After a splashy opening on May 10, with dignitaries from around the world and François Hollande, President of France, in attendence, the Mémorial ACTe opens to the public on July 7th.

On April 18, La Fayette’s Hermione will set sail for its transatlantic crossing to Yorktown, Virginia from Port-des Barques, France on the Charente River. The voyage, which will take an estimated 27 days using a crew of 27 voluntary men and women sailors, is the beginning of a tour of 12 North American ports commemorating the frigate’s role in the American Revolution.
