Air France is partnering with Atout France and five bloggers to promote its Premium Economy cabin. "Air France Travels," Air France’s spring 2015, #Franceonthefly social media campaign in partnership with Atout France, is sending five different bloggers to France in Premium Economy. They began their trip on April 7 in Paris and then splinter off to have different experiences in various areas of France. Participants include: Bri Emery, Denise Bovee, Vivienne Gucwa, Joe Miragliotta, and Chris Bull, editorial director of Gay Cities and Queerty. Each writer will have their own story angles that correspond to Air France and they will interact and engage with Air France and Atout France followers through a live steam of posts during and after the trip. This special landing page, on Atout France’s web site, will also feature content on Air France, Premium Economy as well as a contest to enter to win a trip for two to Paris on Air France. The trip hashtag will be #franceontheflythe bloggers will incorporate this hashtag in all of their social posts. First launched in 2009, and praised by customers, the Premium Economy section was updated in 2013 with more comfortable seat cushions and a multi-position footrest. Other enhancements included wide touchscreens with High Definition selections, over 1,000 hours of music, movies, TV series and many other programs on demand. Additionally, the Premium Economy meal service was also been upgraded, with a second hot dish and new gourmet offer (candies, ice-cream) to make the trip even more pleasant and enjoyable. Meals are now served using eco-designed tableware by the Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet. Air France also introduced organic produce adapted to the tastes of infants and young children; new tableware and a selection of new games (plane-shaped cutlery, pilot’s badges, and coloring materials) to ensure that families are thoroughly catered to.
