The 5-star Clos L’Abbé & Spa is a large mansion in traditional Norman style, set in the original eighteenth-century manor and grounds & nestled in the wooded park lands of the typical Normandy village of Ouville. This exclusive destination is the only five-star boutique house & Spa in the department of La Manche. It is located between Mont Saint-Michel, the D-Day Landing Beaches and just a few minutes’ drive from the nearby shores.
Restored to its former glory, the Clos l’Abbé*****& Spa is a private estate that combines high-quality hotel services and a wide selection of tailored concierge services.
The house can accommodate up to eight guests. There are two suites – one tucked beneath́ the curves of the original attic roof – and two double rooms. All rooms are fully equipped and enjoy views over the grounds. Both living rooms have open fires and comfortable furniture. The original floor tiles have been preserved and restored using traditional techniques.
In addition to the Clos L’Abbé’s Spa—a separate and private 2153 square foot spa suite—concierge services include an in-house private chef, tailor-made excursions and access to a large selection of memorable experiences.
During the two-year restoration, the owners were committed to a sustainable approach, working in harmony with the environment and the property’s natural resources. The Clos L’Abbé has been equipped with sustainable state-of-the-art technologies, including the use of geothermal energy to heat the house and the water, and LED lighting throughout.
