**Gondola Lift **
The outdated Aéroski gondola lift in Tignes le Lac that connects the resort to Val d’Isère via the Tovière Massif has been replaced by new, high-tech and more comfortable cabins and top and bottom terminals.
X Games Tignes
The European version of the Winter X Games, co-produced by Canal+ and ESPN will take place over three days in Tignes, inviting 150 athletes from around the world to compete in eight disciplines. The X Games Tignes are a unique version of the Winter X Games held in the US.
