Press release

All year long, visitors can follow the painted green line that runs through town and connects the city’s top cultural sites and monuments such as the Chateau de Ducs de Bretagne (the museum dedicated to the history of Nantes) and the Mémorial de l’Abolition de l’Escalavage (memorial marking the history and abolition of slavery) or the fantastic Machines de l’isle.

Each summer, this trail is brought to life through the Voyage à Nantes. Artists, designers, gardeners, chefs, DJs and graffiti artists are invited to express their creativity in public spaces such as parks and gardens through ephemeral art installations and pop-up restaurants (some featuring local produce grown in the downtown vegetable garden). This year’s event runs from July 3rd to September 12th and includes 60 different stops.

For further details on these art installations, view the press kit below.
