Paris to Barcelona Direct Line with Rail Europe

Since December 15, 2013, travelers can take the high-speed train direct between Barcelona and Paris in less than 6 and a half hours. Currently there are 2 round trips per day offered. Passengers can travel in style on the state-of-the-art TGV Duplex, a two story train featuring 510 seats with 182 in first class and 328 in second class, as well as a catering service onboard the bar car. The perfect balance of speed and comfort, known for its stability and sound insulation, travelers can enjoy fantastic views of a wide variety of landscapes along the route, from the sunny beaches of the Mediterranean to the awe-inspiring Pyrenees Mountains.

Air France A380 Flies to San Francisco

Starting from March 30, 2014 and throughout the 2014 summer season, Air France will serve San Francisco daily by the A380, the largest super jumbo in its long-haul fleet. This Airbus is already a new reference in terms of air transport and the environment. In addition to unparalleled comfort in a spacious cabin, the A380 offers a particularly quiet cabin and is more fuel-efficient, generating fewer CO2 emissions.

Expanded Flight Options to Martinique
This year, American Airlines added an additional Wednesday flight to Martinique from Miami which will be in service until March 26, 2014. This flight complements the existing Saturday flight from Miami.

  • Miami to Martinique (Fort-de-France), Wednesdays and Saturdays: Departure at 11:30AM with arrival at 3:20PM
  • Martinique (Fort-de-France) to Miami, Wednesdays and Saturdays: Departure at 4:25PM with arrival at 6:25PM

Expanded Flight Options to Guadeloupe

  • Direct From USA Mainland
    In April 2013, American Airlines commenced a weekly nonstop flight between Pointe-a-Pitre and Miami. The flight departs every Saturday (Departs MIA 11:20AM; Arrive PTP 3:25PM Local Time)
  • Direct From Puerto Rico
    Seaborne Airlines increased service to four times per week in code share agreement with American Airlines and Interline agreement with JetBlue Airways. Seaborne-JetBlue tickets are available in GDS for travel agents to book and will be available on JetBlue.com for consumers to book directly in the second quarter of 2014
  • From within the Caribbean
    NEW Since December 2013
    From Antigua – Air Antilles Express began twice weekly service every Monday and Thursday between Guadeloupe Islands and Antigua. The flight is 20 minutes long and is serviced by a 48-seat ATR 42

Bordeaux High-End River Cruises

    Starting this year, American operator Viking Rivers Cruises will ply the waters of the Garonne River on the 443-foot (135-meter) Viking Forsetti cruise ship. With a 170-passenger capacity and crew of 50, it will take in Bordeaux, Pauillac, Blaye, Libourne and Cadillac over the course of eight days before returning to Bordeaux.
