Opening of 4-Star Hotel Les Haras in Strasbourg

Press release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK, NY, NOVEMBER 4, 2013 – After three years of work, Hotel Les Haras opened its doors to the public on October 17, 2013 in Strasbourg, France. Situated on the medieval ramparts of Strasbourg within walking distance from the historic quarter "La Petite France", the building was constructed in the 18th century and was the original site of the Franco-German equestrian, dance and fencing academy. Soon afterwards, the National Stud Farm took over the building until March 2005.

Classified as a historical site in 1992, the hotel has 55 rooms imagined by the architectural firm Jouin Manku, inspired by the design world yet also hearkening back to the building's equestrian roots. Featuring a brasserie run by the chef three Michelin-star chef, Marc Haeberlin as well as a conference room with the capacity to accommodate up to 70 people, the hotel is ideal for both business and leisure travelers alike.
