2013/2014 Updates
Digital Immersion Experience
Unlike any other ski resort in France, Val Thorens aims to give guests an unrivaled welcome through a complete “digital ecosystem” immersion. Upon arrival, guests are met in the village by Tourist Office hostesses with tablet computers. The resort also features a large screen in the center of the village featuring updates from the resort. Val Thorens has also launched an iPhone app so that visitors can stay connected “on-the-go” and, new for 2014, a “virtual superfriend” allowing visitors to stay in direct contact with the resort. This digital ecosystem keeps in touch via email and text to keep skiers up to date with the resort's top tips as they happen and ensure visitors take full advantage of their Val Thorens experience.
