Strasbourg – Starting February 7 to 16, 2020

Top French City Strasbourg is not only the place to go for Christmas markets but for Valentine’s week as well. With its extraordinary heritage, half-timbered houses, picturesque alleyways and small squares, canals and bridges, Strasbourg is undoubtedly one of the most romantic cities in France. Every year in February, the European capital puts on a more than week-long festival aptly named for Valentine’s “Strasbourg, mon amour” to celebrate lovers with a program that’s poetic, cultural, glamorous, and slightly quirky!—as their website informs us.

This year’s lover’s festival will take place February 7 to 16, 2020. Among the highlights of the ten-day event: festive, delightfully retro evenings, lunches and brunches and operettas throughout the week at the Café des Amours on the lovely place Kléber; gourmet tête-à-tête dinners; ephemeral installations under the stars; exclusive concerts; unusual visits; unexpected encounters. The beautiful French Riviera town of Cannes is always the perfect place for a romantic sojourn and especially perfect place to spend Valentine’s day. Its boulevard de la Croisette, curves along the coast, lined with sandy beaches and its old quarter, known as Le Suquet, is one of Côte d’Azur’s most charming spots.

Two of Cannes’ finest hotels, Le Majestic and Le Gray d’Albion are offering guests a special one-night package for Valentine’s. Part of the Lucien Barrière hotel group, they will offer an overnight rate starting at €160 at Le Gray d'Albion & €239 at the Majestic, based on a Superior Room.
