The opportunity and airline choices to fly to France from a nearby gateway and new airlines from major gateways is growing in the U.S.

The Guadeloupe Islands - French West Indies

JetBlue will be expanding their portfolio by adding a new nonstop seasonal service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Guadeloupe’s Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (PTP). Roundtrip flights will operate three times per week on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays starting February 1, 2020 through the end of April. Flights will then resume in November 2020. New non-stop flight to Nice, Côte d’Azur, the French Riviera

Speaking of new routes, United Airlines will launch nonstop daily service from New York/Newark to Nice beginning May 2, 2020 United Airlines will join La Compagnie, the business class only airline, that started seasonal service this May 2019. Click here for details

United Airlines is also the only U.S. Airline Flying non-stop to Tahiti from San Francisco and Pape'ete, the capital of Tahiti, the South Pacific's gateway to more than 118 islands in French Polynesia including Bora Bora, Moorea, the Marquesas and Raiatea.

New Flights and airlines to Paris

Four low-cost carriers are inaugurating flights to Paris

Corsair, a French low cost carrier that primarily operates long haul flights between Paris Orly and the Caribbean began this June 2019 flights from Paris Orly Airport to Miami three times weekly. They have just announced a new aily route that will open June 10, 2020 from Paris Orly to New York/Newark. Click here for details

French Bee, now flying from Paris Orly Airport to San Francisco since May 2018 and continuing on to Tahiti, has also announced that it will start flights from and to Paris Orly from New York/Newark on June 10, 2020. They will be operating the daily route with an Airbus A350-900. For more details click here

Level, International Airlines Group’s long-haul, low-cost carrier, will start nonstop service on Oct. 30, offering two flights weekly from Las Vegas to Paris Orly International Airport. The aircraft will be an Airbus A330-200 equipped with 293 economy and 21 premium economy seats. Click here for details

Norwegian Air will add a new route to Paris CDG from Austin, Texas starting May 6, 2020. The flight on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, will operate three times weekly and go to two weekly flights starting September 25, 2020. Click here for details
