OFF Paris Seine: A Unique Floating Hotel on the River Seine

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NEW YORK, NY (May 12, 2016) - Citysurfing, Seine Design, Groupe Novaxia, Bpifrance and Elegancia Hotels announce the creation of a 58-room floating hotel located quai d’Austerlitz. This unique Parisian experience will open in 2016 under the name « OFF Paris Seine ». The hotel will be located next to the Pont Charles de Gaulle, close to the Lyon and Austerlitz train stations, the Cité de la Mode et du Design and the new Paris Rive Gauche district. Notre Dame de Paris will be reachable at a 13-minute walk through the Tino Rossi gardens, thanks to the continuity now made possible by walking along the banks of the Seine. OFF Paris Seine is directly part of the Mairie de Paris and Ports de Paris’s desire to liven up and revitalize the quays of Paris Rive Gauche. The synergy between the 5 partners will give birth to this ambitious and innovative project for the city of Paris: a floating hotel on the river Seine, featuring 58 rooms including 4 suites, a lounge with a panoramic view over the Seine, a bar, a solarium, a 400 square-meter dockside terrace in summertime, a selection of artistic and festive events and an integrated port to accommodate small cruise boats.
