Starting in November 2014, in partnership with the Community of cities “du Val de l’Ailette”, the Circuit “Sur les pas d’Anne Morgan” (In the footsteps of Anne Morgan) will link the five CARD centers (Blérancourt, Soissons, Anizy, Coucy-le-Château et Vic-sur-Aisne) through specific signs, a mobile application and dedicated animations. Photographs that come from the Anne Morgan archives shall also be reproduced on the windows of the main buildings of the cities to show "The war, in their eyes.." You will probably be surprised to see the faces of children, young women or the elderly, as captured in time who watch you pass today. Who are they? Where do they come from? These photos come from the Anne Morgan archives of the Franco-American Museum, Château de Blérancourt and were taken between 1917 and 1924 in municipalities where the CARD (American Committee for Devastated Regions) did relief work to have the civilian populations.
