France comes to IMEX 2018 with a full complement of partners

Atout France, the France Tourism Development Agency and its 25 partners* will be exhibiting at IMEX October 16 to 18, 2018. The France Booth, booth #3629, will be well represented, featuring DMCs, transportation companies, top flight hotels and French destinations—including for the first time, the beautiful Island of Martinique.


“We are very excited to have more partners for this year’s IMEX. U.S. interest in France is growing and we are ready and able to welcome new meetings, conventions and incentives to France and the French West Indies", said Anne-Laure Tuncer, Director USA of Atout France. Ms. Tuncer added: “In today’s buoyant MICE industry with an expected 5 to 10% increase in international meetings for 2019, France will be uniquely positioned to gain market share following the success of the Ryder Cup at the Golf National near Paris. In 2019 France will also be host to the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the G7 in Biarritz.”


With the presence of the Nice Convention and Visitors Bureau at IMEX, Mr. Rudy Salles, Deputy Mayor of Nice in charge of Tourism & International Relations will attend and speak on security in the city during Smart Monday on October 15, 2018.


Appointments are still available with most partners to meet at the France booth #3629, including for Martinique, Pullman Paris, Paris Marriott Opera, NEST DMC, Paris Key DMC, La Compagnie des Bâteaux-Mouches, JW Marriot Cannes, InterContinental Paris - Le Grand.


During the 3-day show, Atout France and its partners are also hosting several happenings that at present are fully booked. Main events will include:

Tuesday, October 16 at 8:00 a.m.: The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur breakfast is also hosted with the participation of the Nice and Monaco CVBs and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Events.

Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00 a.m.: the Atout France—Monaco sponsored breakfast will also feature 12 other French partners, including Martinique who will offer at the breakfast and throughout the show, a chance to win two hotel nights.

Wednesday, October 17 at 5:00 p.m: Paris Happy Hour
