"Cinema to Go" Celebrates the 36th Anniversary of Air France’s Partnership with the Cannes Film Festival

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NEW YORK, N.Y. – May 3, 2016 – From May 7, 2016 through May 21, 2016, Air France will offer a unique Cinema to Go program to passengers on select flights* from Los Angeles International Airport to Paris-Charles de Gaulle. In celebration of the 36th anniversary of Air France’s partnership with the Cannes Film Festival, Cinema to Go will allow passengers the opportunity to watch or finish watching a selection of films from the “Cannes Film Festival” library after their flight on iTunes using their tablet, smartphone, smart TV or PC with a gift code offered by Air France. Movie lovers can continue to enjoy their cinema experience after their trip by choosing from 10 winning films from the Cannes Film Festival, called the “Cannes Film Festival” selection available on board. Titles include “The Pianist,” winner of the Palme d’or in 2002, “Persepolis,” winner of the Jury Prize in 2007, “The Artist,” winner of the Best Actor Award in 2011 and “The Angels' Share,” winner of the Jury Prize in 2012. In addition, in May, Air France is offering all its customers the chance to see this unique selection of winning films at Cannes aboard its long-haul flights. Offer is exclusive to Air France Airbus A380 Flights from Los Angeles to Paris-Charles de Gaulle operating under the AF065 flight number on May 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2016. The Company offers up to 1,200 hours of programming on demand, available immediately after boarding and up to arrival at the destination airport.
