Norwegian Air: from New York, Baltimore, Washington or Boston to Martinique & Guadeloupe Concerning the French West Indies there is more exciting news for Martinique and for the Guadeloupe Islands. This coming winter season, starting December 3, 2015, the award-winning low-cost airline Norwegian will fly non-stop and very affordably to both islands from three East Coast locations: New York’s JFK, Baltimore’s BWI and Boston’s Logan airports. It is the first time in 20 years that residents of the Northeast will enjoy direct service to these French Caribbean Islands. Starting December 17th American will operate 6 weekly flights every day except Wednesdays. For booking please visit www.aa.com Delta: Non-stop flights from Raleigh-Durham to Paris Delta will launch daily non-stop flights from Raleigh-Durham to Paris beginning May 12. Today, only American flies to Europe from the North Carolina airport. That service, to London, has been operating since 1994. Delta will operate the new flight as part of its joint venture with Air France. Delta has been building a base at Raleigh-Durham to serve the Research Triangle (based on the presence of the Univ. of North Carolina, Duke University and North Carolina State). Delta already flies to 20 cities from the airport. For more information, visit Delta Air lines New York – Nice with Delta Airlines: trans-Atlantic nonstop flight from France's Côte d’Azur to the Big Apple The flight is the only service to link the French Riviera region to the United States nonstop and previously ran for 10 months each year, with a temporary stop between the end of January and the start of the summer season in March. Operated daily by Delta in conjunction with Air France, the flight will continue four times a week throughout the winter season. The Nice-New York flight supports a number of high-profile events in the Côte d’Azur region, including the Cannes Film Festival, of which Air France is official airline, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Nice Jazz Festival.
