WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., November 2014 – Rail Europe, Inc. encourages North American travelers to explore France by train. All major French cities are connected by the high speed TGV. Traveling at speeds up to 200 mph, the TGV allows passengers to see more of France in less time.

Travelers can easily connect France from all neighboring countries. The last missing direct connection from Italy will be available as of December 14, 2014. You can now connect Italy and France via the Alps from Turin and but soon, you will also be able to connect directly Genoa to the French Riviera. A daily direct service will connect Milan, Genoa, Monaco, Cannes, up to Marseille. You no longer will have to switch from an Italian train to a French train at the border in Ventimiglia.
